Cloud-based render farm?

1. Ability to render selected areas of the final render.By this I mean using selection window to e.g. render either a small portion of the final image in 1:1 ratio or rerender a selected area in finished rendering. I do wonder that the latter may be quite challenging to work out considering the indirect lighting & colourbleeding....Never the less it would be nice to have a "fix up tool", since now should you notice a minor flaw in the final render the rendering has to be started  from the…See More

Cloud-based render farm?

To my understanding the current render farm solution is mainly intended for local networks?I'm running slow on "steam" with my latest model so it would really cool to have some form of on-demand cloud-based render farm. It believe there are many small independent modelers who could benefit the service if reasonably priced (e.g. by data transfered) since they just don't have the resources to go to store and buy more hardware. I would also enable more proficient use e.g. one could make high…See More

I've been now testing this with relatively large model and this has brought up few new issues. Some of these may already exist so in that case just please point the way...1. With large model it takes some time to get even small test renderings, so when I spot a mistake I'd like to kill the render instantly rather than having to wait the active pass to finish. This is really a nuisance currently (300000 px image/1 pass appr. 5 mins/win7-64bit-8GB RAM-Intel® Core™ i7-820QM).2. Light  manager…See More
