Insert models with lights

Has anyone ever added many lights through the insert command? I have about 150 small lamps that you would have in a theater attached to the isle seat so that people won't trip going to their seat. The problem is these lights never seem to cast a small amount of light on the floor as they should. If I turn off all of the lights in the model, the entire theater saturates with light even when I bring the light value down to almost 0 watts.Any clue?ThanksPaulSee More

Depth of field through glass

Hi,Was working on a render where there is a glass in the foreground. I wanted to have the background out of focus. After saving the .nXtImage file and bringing it into the nXtImage editor, I adjusted the FX (depth blur) for a background that was out of focus. Bye the way, this works very nice for most situations. The problem is that the image that is seen through the glass is in focus even though the image through the glass is really a background that is out of focus. See attached.I'm even…See More

Unable to create save bitmap

Over the weekend I still continue to get this message at times:Unable to create save bitmapI'm running:Rhino 4, latestFlamingo nXt BetaVersion 3.1.2011.1027 (data Built 27-Oct-2011)Toolkit Version: 1.0.279.0This was a fairly large model with blocks that I reran several times as I was experimenting with depth of field. The first run was OK, the other 4 times I had to just use screen capture to save the results. Unfortunetly, each run was 20 passes and took about 4 hours each.I only have 3gig…See More
