1) Use a night HDRI
2) put lights on a second channel. I find the balance between the HDRI and the other light sin the scene to be real key.

Roy Hirshkowitz replied to Nicola D'Alessandro's discussion night scene"Set the lighting up accurately. Use the Brightness control to compensate for the autoexposure which is set for daylight. You'll probably need to turn the brightness down to about -.35 (just a guess) so it won't be overexposed."
