"The wooden deck surface is a bitmap. Currently the Bitmap is not previewed. but the color under the bitmap, which is grey. We are working on a version of NXT that will have better previews in Rhino 5."

Preview Render in Rhino

Selecting the render viem in the viewports i am somethimes not getting the same preview as the final rendering, see attached files.I do usually get a fairly good representation of the material color at least, i would have expected a brownish previiew of the two wooden deck surfaces.It is a fair portion of extra work to let flamingo nxt render a fist pass to be able to judge the material selection was ok.JKlausSee More

"yes, the do convert to *.armaterial files, but the are not the same materials, some of them show ok, some, most others are just plain white instead of wooden or other textured appearances. What is the workaround? Klaus"

"If you go to the Flamingo NXt pulldown > Utilities > Materials. There you can convert an older MLIB file to a series of NXT materials."
