Decal won't render on surface perpendicular to it.

In Flamingo 2.0, the decals used to render fine planar surface perpendicular to the decal direction.I use a big decal to do the paint scheme, logos, etc on the hull of my ships by projecting it perpendicular to the CL of the ship, one for starboard and a mirrored one for port.  The transom is therefore parallel to the direction of the decal projection but it used to render fine in 2.0.In Nxt the transom wont render so I have to rotate slightly the decal in order to show up which causes all…See More

Batch renderer frustration

Hi all,I've been using the B.R. in my last poject involving more than 25 saved views.  While it is great for multiple renders,  it is frustrating to have to uncheck every time the views that i don't want to render at that particular time.  It's ok if I need to render them all but to have to uncheck 22 views if I only need 3 it's a pain ....Here is my wish list for the batch renderer:1.- The window should not default to have all items checked but at least keep the last selection.2.- Ability to…See More

Converting legacy materials

Hi,Is there a way to automatically make a library of all materials (mlib) and embedded maps used in a flamingo 2.0 model so that I can used the 'convert legacy materials' feature in nxt.  It seems like I have to create a new library in fl 2.0 and manually move or copy the materials used?  I've used materials from all over so I was hoping that the collection  could be accomplished automatically ...ThanksJuanSee More
