easy rendering for Rhino in Windows
I stopped a rendering, then tried to save it. I get the error message:
"Unable to create save bitmap"
Do I need to purchase a license at this point?
Any ideas?
Thanks up front for any help.
Cheers!

To get the build, go to the Download Page....

Same results, here's the cmd history:

Yeah, there was a mess in the download. I updated it now, please try again. The date on the file should read 1/18/2012
Permalink Reply by Mike Calvino on January 19, 2012 at 9:32pm That seems to have done the trick. with build 20120118_1917. Was able to save 3 different files after like 5, 7, & 9 passes. tried the 3 boxes, then a more complex file - works with both. Thanks. cmd history fyi:

Thank you for all the testing. This has been a problem we have been trying to figure out for quite a while.

I re-downloaded build 36, re-installed, then opened a file (different one this time ~30Mb), rendered 2 passes with default settings & no material assignments.
A little more info, maybe it'll help pinpoint the problem.

-So it seems that it's definitely an issue within nXt & not Rh5.

Permalink Reply by John Morse on January 17, 2012 at 10:04am Thanks for the information, it was very helpful. I went ahead and added some code to force the final bitmap to generate when a save is requested and a rendering is done and have a new build running now. I will have Scott post the new build when it is ready.
