easy rendering for Rhino in Windows
Trimming Ground Plane
Is there a way to "trim" the Ground Plane? I am making a render of a boat that has an area in the stern that is lower than the ground plane. As a result it looks flooded! Any suggestions?

No but seriously, My suggestion would be to create a huge surface and trim it with your boat, Using that surface as the new ground plane. But there are probably better ways of doing it, Good Luck

Thanks... I thought about doing that... haven't tried to 'model' the water as yet... but was hoping to avoid having to do so....

In the end I made a surface... it was all very simple... though I did note that it took a lot longer to do the renders as a result...
