easy rendering for Rhino in Windows
Rhino support suggested I try this forum for questions about creating custom two-tone antiqued metal materials in Rhino V5 with Flamingo nXt.
Firstly, I have a handful of hand-rubbed paint finish images I need to replicate in Rhino. One example is pictured below, the remainder are attached. So far, it’s been hours of hit or miss attempts blending material, colors, & textures & scale. Is there an easier/better way?
Secondly, my original material efforts for the above were created in Rhino V4 with Flamingo 2 as customized plug-in materials assigned to layers for application in the model. Now, using V5 Beta predominantly, how can I extract these materials to a V5 library for further editing/manipulation?
Any/all help is most appreciated.
