Flamingo nXt

easy rendering for Rhino in Windows

Hi,

I'm using Rhino 5 and Flamingo nXt 3.1.2012. 911 with nXtFarmer64. Every time I run a render on farm the nXt64.exe crashes frequently. I noticed that when I disable two of eight of my processors (set affinity in tasks manager) the application never crashes. Unfortunately, the nXt64.exe starts a new task after every pass, so I have to disable processors every minute before render is finished. How can I fix that?

You can do two things here.

  1. Get the newest Farmer: http://nxt.flamingo3d.com/page/nxt-render-farm
  2. Submit a jab to the farm, but tell it to start at a later time.  Then zip up that farm job folder (jsut the one job) and send it to us.  We can run the farm job here.  You can use this link to upload the large ZIP: http://www2.mcneel.com/upload/Upload.aspx

We can see what the problem is.  an 8 core machine should not be a problem with the current farm.
